Taghmon (IrishTeach Munna, meaning House of Munn) is a village in County WexfordIreland. It lies some 14 km west of Wexford town and 24 km east-southeast of New Ross. Taghmon is surrounded by progressive villages such as Wellingtonbridge, Foulksmills, and Adamstown.

Taghmon because of its location has potential to grow into a thriving town, it has presently a number of successful businesses operating in the town such as Irish Pride Bakery, Taghmon Business Park and a number of strong retail outlets, amongst the successful business people in Taghmon are a number of building contractors and trades people.

A Brief History of Taghmon Action Group

Taghmon Action Group (TAG) was established in 2002. Since its conception, Taghmon Action Group has overseen some major projects and developments in the local area. With the help of the community, employees past and present, volunteers, national and local government bodies, TAG has grown from being a small idea to a highly productive, local operation. It has it's own premium office space, chilcdare centre, and a state of the art community,training and educaton centre. Taghmon Action Group provides employment for seventeen people across various professions including Childcare, Day Cenre, Office, Environment through the Department of Social Protection Community Employment Scheme.
